We Appreciate Our MB Veterans

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, we’re recognizing a few of the many distinguished veterans who are part of our MBUSA team! Check out their pictures below, and please take the time to thank them for their service!


Jack Pierce, Head of Van Remarketing

Tommy Batten of the Jacksonville PDC Warehouse served for two years in the Army as an armored crewman and tank driver.

Nick Emma, Supervisor of Brand Experience Marketing, served in Iraq in 2005 and left the U.S. Army in 2007 holding the rank of Captain.

Douglas Lehman, Sales Operation Manager at Carol Stream, served in the U.S. Navy from 1983-1989. In the Hospital Corps, he was assigned to the United States Medical Command in Bethesda, Maryland – Naval Medical Hyperbaric Research Command.


Bill Legg, Area Manager of the Southern Region, served in the U.S. Navy for eight years, from 1989-1997 during Operation Desert Shield.

Brian Martinette, Aftersales Operations Manager of the Western Region, served in the Marine Corps for 13 years. He worked in Crash-Fire-Rescue, Search Air Rescue, Recruiter, 6th Counter Intelligence Team and toured in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Semper Fi!

Matt Bowerman, Department Manager for Product Management, was a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army and served in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division.

Cliff Cieslak, Aftersales Operations Manager for the Southern Region, has served for 14 years (6.5 years on active duty) which included two combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. Cliff continues to serve as a Battlefield Coordination Detachment Assistant Plans Officer in the Georgia Army National Guard.
