It’s Benz, Mercedes-Benz. In Skyfall, Mercedes-Benz made an appearance in the James Bond franchise with the black Mercedes-Benz S-class 300 which is seen in pursuit of the villain as Daniel Craig maneuvers around Shanghai’s international airport and city streets.


Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Mercedes, roll out! The most expensive cameo for a Mercedes-Benz vehicle is in Transformers: Dark of the Moon with the SLS AMG. In the third installment of the franchise, Soundwave the Decepticon disguises itself as the extravagant sports car supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitely drives around Chicago.

The Hangover

What happens in Vegas…might be forgotten. In The Hangover, the wolf pack takes the iconic 1965 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Convertible on a trip to Vegas where it is impounded, crashed and used as a tiger’s chew toy.

The Rookie

The good, the bad and the engineered. If you want to see a Mercedes-Benz fly, watch The Rookie (1990) where Clint Eastwood drives a Mercedes-Benz R129 500SL out of a fiery building window and into a skylight. The iconic car leap is punctuated by Eastwood quoting the famous campaign slogan, “engineered like no other car.”

Talk about biting off more than you can chew. While the modified 1998 Mercedes-Benz ML320 vehicles were spared by a hungry T-Rex in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, a driver wasn’t so lucky.

Men in Black II

The men were back in black in this sequel of the other-worldly franchise with new aliens, gadgets and most importantly, a new ride. When showing off his new Mercedes-Benz E500 to Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith describes the car with the famous ad-lib line, “the new hotness.”



May the schwartz be with you! This far, far away parody features a custom-built Mercedes-Benz hovercraft which helped the princess flee her planet as she avoids an arranged marriage.
