2021 MBUSA Pride: Ways to Get Involved

June is Pride Month, when the world’s LGBTQ communities come together and celebrate the freedom to be themselves. In honor of Pride Month, we have planned multiple opportunities for you to become engaged and supportive:

Tuesday, June 15th to Saturday, June 19th: Lost-n-Found Youth Atlanta Volunteer Event
Lost-n-Found Youth is an Atlanta-based nonprofit that exists to end homelessness for LGBTQ youth. Volunteer in the Thrift Store with United Way of Greater Atlanta, to support the work being done!

Monday, June 21st, from 3 – 4:30 p.m. ET: Creating Safe Spaces for Your Questions and Answers: Transgender and Non-binary Awareness
Join us as we continue courageous conversations to learn about diverse gender identities, understand usage of gender pronouns and further identify ways to be an ally to the LGBTQ community inside and outside of MBUSA. We will hear from Gabrielle Claiborne and Linda Herzer, co-founders of Transformation Journeys Worldwide, an inclusion training and consulting firm with a transgender focus. Click HERE to sign up in YourCause and receive calendar details.

Looking to donate to an LGBTQ organization?
Did you know that MBUSA partners with local and national LGBTQ nonprofit organizations through volunteerism, education, and advocacy? MBUSA is celebrating Pride Month by doubling the matching gift program amount (up to $400 per employee) during June 2021. If you choose to donate to one of the organizations listed, we will double your gift. Get started here!
